Ryan Zeferjahn secured his fourth win of the season by pitching a scoreless ninth inning, capping a comeback effort that saw the Los Angeles Angels defeat the Oakland Athletics 5-2 at Angel Stadium on Sunday. The victory improved the Angels' record to 35-49, while the Athletics fell to 40-43.

The game remained tight through the middle innings before Los Angeles took control in the later stages. The Angels broke a 2-2 tie in the seventh inning when Guzman singled to left field, driving in Lowe to make it 3-2.
