Grizzlies Clutch Performance
Cameron Boozer was the defining figure in the Memphis Grizzlies' 111-108 victory over the Golden State Warriors on Friday at Chase Center in San Francisco. The visiting team overcame a significant deficit in the final frame to secure their second win of the season, improving their record to 2-0.
Boozer provided the offensive spark required to close out the game, recording 13 rebounds and dishing out six assists in a balanced performance. His late-game scoring efforts, including a crucial nine-foot turnaround jump shot that extended the lead, proved decisive in the final minutes of play.
Fourth Quarter Comeback
The game’s trajectory shifted dramatically in the fourth quarter. After trailing by as many as nine points, the Grizzlies mounted a sustained scoring run. Ty Jerome emerged as a key offensive force, hitting a 23-foot three-pointer to bring Memphis within one point.
Boozer then added free throws to narrow the gap further. With the score tied at 106, Boozer’s jumper gave Memphis the lead, a cushion they managed to protect through the final seconds. The Warriors’ fourth-quarter output of just 18 points contrasted sharply with their earlier dominance, allowing the Grizzlies to capitalize on their momentum.
