The Los Angeles Chargers are currently conducting their 2026 training camp at The Bolt, providing daily updates on practice observations and key storylines as they prepare for the upcoming regular season.

The team has taken its first off day of camp and will not hold practice on Sunday. They are scheduled to resume practice on Monday at 10 a.m. before heading to San Diego for sessions on Tuesday and Wednesday.

During Saturday's practice, the Chargers increased their tempo, with both the offense and defense making notable plays. Kicker Cameron Dicker excelled in a late-game simulation, while rookie cornerback Avery Smith recorded two pass breakups. The team will practice again on Monday morning.

On Friday, the Chargers held a lighter practice, primarily jogging through plays. Trey Pipkins III rotated in as the fourth left guard in front of quarterback Justin Herbert, reflecting ongoing adjustments in that position.

Justin Herbert stood out on Day 2 of camp, showcasing his passing skills and developing connections with receivers Ladd McConkey and Quentin Johnston. Defensive Coordinator Chris O'Leary and linebacker Daiyan Henley discussed the latter's critical role in the defense during a press conference.

The first day of training camp featured multiple takeaways by the defense, despite the team not being in pads yet. Head Coach Jim Harbaugh addressed expectations for the season ahead. The Chargers are coming off two consecutive playoff appearances and double-digit win seasons, with high hopes entering Year 3 under Harbaugh.

Veterans reported for training camp on Tuesday, while quarterbacks, rookies, and select players arrived the previous week. The Chargers plan to host over a dozen open practices in the coming weeks, including two in San Diego.

Further details about the training camp schedule and player performances will be provided in the coming days.
