Pirates of Emerson brings its haunted themed park back to the Alameda County Fairgrounds for the 2026 season. The event features four walk-through haunted houses, a fright-themed oddities exhibit, live bands on select nights, carnival-style games and food. Gates open at 7:05 p.m.; the park runs select nights through November 1 (October 15-18, 22-25, 28-31 and November 1), with closing at 10 p.m. or 11 p.m. depending on the night. Recommended for ages 13 and up; guests under 16 must be accompanied by someone 21 or older. Tickets are sold online only and entry is through Gate 8 off Valley Avenue.
