Pirates of Emerson, in its 36th season, runs four haunted houses across several acres at the Alameda County Fairgrounds, Gate 8, on select nights October 2 through November 1. The attraction includes scare actors, carnival games, a VR ride and live bands. Gates open at 7:05 PM; Friday and Saturday nights run until 11 PM. General admission is $48 and parking is $15.
