Additional enactments focus on higher education access and family protections. Assembly Bill 2054 clarifies eligibility criteria within the state's family temporary disability insurance system to ensure coverage extends to military personnel deployed on active duty assignments, including reservists. Meanwhile, Assembly Bills 2203 and 1346 establish priority course enrollment at public college systems and safeguard in-state tuition rates for returning military dependents.
