Bryce Eldridge went 4-for-5 with four RBI on Saturday night, and the San Francisco Giants answered their afternoon loss with a 7-2 win over the Arizona Diamondbacks to split the Oracle Park doubleheader.

Eldridge singled home Jonah Cox in the first after Cox walked and stole second and third, putting San Francisco ahead 1-0. He struck out looking in the third with Cox on second after another steal.
In the fifth, after Rafael Devers had just given the Giants the lead with a bases-loaded single, Eldridge ripped a two-run single to left-center that scored Drew Gilbert and Osleivis Basabe and made it 4-1.
He added an infield single off the pitcher in the seventh, a contact play that helped set up Jung Hoo Lee's RBI single scoring Gilbert for a 5-2 lead. In the eighth he beat out another infield single to second that scored Gilbert again and pushed the margin to 7-2. That closed a night of consistent contact rather than one big swing.

Yunior Marte, called up from Double-A Richmond for his major league debut, started for San Francisco and worked 4.2 innings with three hits, one run, two walks and three strikeouts. The run came on Lars Nootbaar's bloop double that glanced off Grant McCray's glove and scored Ildemaro Vargas with two outs in the third, tying the game 1-1, the AP reported.
Mitch Bratt (1-3) lasted 4.1 innings for Arizona: three hits, three runs, two walks and two strikeouts. Gerardo Carrillo replaced him in the fifth with runners in scoring position, walked Gilbert, and watched Devers and Eldridge deliver the three-run burst that flipped the night. Reiver Sanmartin struck out the only batter he faced, Nootbaar, to end the fifth and earned the win, improving to 2-0.
