SAN FRANCISCO - Bryce Eldridge bookended Oracle Park's loudest afternoon with the two singles that mattered most.
The Giants first baseman went 2-for-4 with three RBI in a 7-6 comeback win over the St. Louis Cardinals on Wednesday, a day game that completed San Francisco's first three-game home sweep of the season.
He drove in Drew Gilbert with an RBI single in the first, then delivered a two-run single in the eighth that helped turn a 6-1 deficit into a six-run, two-out explosion. CBS Sports and the Associated Press both noted that the afternoon extended Eldridge's on-base streak to 18 games.
