Pleasanton residents can practice using a fire extinguisher and watch firefighters demonstrate their work at the Fire Safety Expo on Saturday, Oct. 10.
The Livermore-Pleasanton Fire Department event runs from 8 a.m. to noon at its Training Tower, 3333 Busch Road in Pleasanton. Admission is free.
The program includes live firefighter demonstrations, fire extinguisher training and a children’s obstacle course, according to Pleasanton Unified School District’s Sept. 30 community newsletter. The Livermore-Pleasanton Firefighters Foundation will also host a free pancake breakfast.
