Golden State returns to San Francisco for a deciding playoff game after its offense went quiet late in Wednesday’s overtime loss to Dallas.

Gabby Williams scored a career-high 36 points, but the Valkyries lost 108–100 in Arlington on Sept. 30. Golden State made two of 12 shots in overtime and did not score in the final 2:26. Williams missed six attempts in the last 1:31, according to the Associated Press report carried by the WNBA.

That closing drought is the immediate concern as the series returns to the Bay Area. Game 3 is Friday, Oct. 2, at Chase Center, with tipoff scheduled for 6 p.m. Pacific. The winner advances to the semifinals.
