Kittredge seals victory in extra frames

The Baltimore Orioles defeated the Sacramento Athletics 4-3 in ten innings on Saturday, August 29, 2026, at Sutter Health Park. Andrew Kittredge recorded the winning decision, while Alex Hoppe earned the save. The Orioles improved their record to 66-69, while the Athletics fell to 53-82. Attendance at the venue was 7,228.

Orioles build early lead

He allowed three hits and one earned run while walking three batters and striking out six. Scott Blewett pitched two innings, allowing one hit and one walk without an earned run. Luis Medina pitched one inning, retiring two batters on strikes without allowing hits or earned runs.

Hogan Harris pitched one inning, allowing one walk and one hit without an earned run.

Deciding runs in the tenth

The decisive runs came in the top of the tenth inning. Mayo singled to right, scoring Narváez and making it 3-2. Encarnacion-Strand then singled to right, scoring Henderson and extending the lead to 4-2.

The Athletics managed one insurance run when Gelof singled to center, scoring Williams and cutting the deficit to 4-3. Brady Basso took the loss, pitching one inning and allowing two hits, one earned run, and one walk while striking out two. The game concluded with the Orioles holding their 4-3 advantage.
