Pleasanton-based 10x Genomics announced a new cloud software platform on Sept. 29, extending its business from generating biological research data to helping scientists analyze it.
The first offering, Sentira Spatial Analysis, is available through a free early-access program for researchers using the company’s Xenium or Atera systems. The company expects a paid commercial release in early 2027, with usage-based pricing and planned enterprise subscriptions. Detailed prices have not been released.
The software uses NVIDIA computing technology to process spatial biology data, which researchers use to study biological activity within tissue. The announcement came as 10x said it was beginning shipments of Atera, its newest instrument.
