Workday, Inc. announced the appointment of John Lombard as the President for its Asia Pacific region. The enterprise AI platform for human resources, finance, and information technology stated that Lombard brings more than 30 years of senior technology and advisory leadership experience to the role.

Lombard most recently served as the Asia Pacific chief executive officer for NTT Data for a decade. His previous senior leadership positions include roles at SAP, KPMG Australia, and Crowe Howarth, a business and financial advisory organization. Throughout his career, he has assisted enterprises in navigating regulatory landscapes, modernizing technology foundations, and scaling through data-driven strategies.

Based in Australia and Singapore, Lombard will oversee Workday’s regional go-to-market strategy, commercial operations, and expansion across key Asia Pacific markets. His responsibilities include scaling the business in the region, deepening the partner ecosystem, and helping customers leverage the Workday platform to drive operational efficiency and growth.

Lombard described Asia Pacific as an epicenter of global innovation, noting the opportunity for businesses to leverage intelligent technology for a competitive edge. He expressed enthusiasm about joining the team to deepen regional relationships and support customers through their digital transformation.
