Lendeborg leads Golden State

Yaxel Lendeborg delivered 23 points, 10 rebounds and six assists, helping the Golden State Warriors defeat the Sacramento Kings 111-106 on Saturday, Oct. 10, 2026. Golden State was the home team and improved to 2-2, while Sacramento fell to 0-3.

Warriors reverse first-quarter deficit

The Kings held a 25-24 lead after the opening quarter. Darius Acuff Jr. scored 25 points and had eight assists for Sacramento, which used the first-period edge to start in front. Golden State answered in the second quarter, outscoring the Kings 37-31 to take a 61-56 halftime lead.

The Warriors’ second-quarter surge included contributions from Lendeborg, who scored on a layup and a driving floating jump shot during the period. Golden State also received a three-point jumper from Georges Niang and a three-point jumper from Maxime Raynaud in the quarter.

Golden State maintains the advantage

Golden State added to its lead in the third quarter, winning the period 28-25. That left the Warriors ahead 89-81 entering the fourth. Lendeborg scored a driving layup and made a free throw in the third, while Brandin Podziemski made two three-point shots.

Sacramento trimmed the margin in the final period, outscoring Golden State 25-22, but the Warriors remained in front at the finish. Jonathan Mogbo had eight rebounds for the Kings and scored on two fourth-quarter two-point shots before adding free throws. Golden State answered with late scoring from Will Richard and Charles Bassey, including free throws from both players.

Records

The victory moved the Warriors to 2-2 after the game. The Kings’ record became 0-3. Golden State finished with 111 points, and Sacramento finished with 106.
