Barrett sets the pace

RJ Barrett scored 20 points and added five assists as the Toronto Raptors defeated the LA Clippers 114-106 on Saturday, Oct. 10, 2026, at Rogers Arena. Toronto was the home team, and the result left both teams with 1-1 records.

Scottie Barnes contributed 10 rebounds for the Raptors. Rui Hachimura scored 14 points for the visiting Clippers, while Kris Dunn had six assists and Brook Lopez collected seven rebounds.

Toronto builds its advantage

Toronto took control early, leading 24-18 after the first quarter. The Raptors extended that margin in the second, outscoring the Clippers 33-27 to take a 57-45 advantage into halftime.

Barrett’s scoring helped Toronto maintain its separation during the opening half. Barnes added a three-point jumper and a driving layup in the second quarter, while Immanuel Quickley also connected from beyond the arc. Hachimura supplied points for Los Angeles during the period, including an alley-oop dunk and three free throws.

Clippers close the gap

The Raptors widened the lead again in the third quarter, outscoring Los Angeles 32-27. Toronto entered the final period ahead 89-72 after a quarter that included three-point baskets from Quickley and Nick Martinelli, along with a pair of baskets by Jamal Shead.

Los Angeles then produced its highest-scoring quarter, putting up 34 points in the fourth. The Clippers trimmed the deficit as Blake Wesley, Yuki Kawamura and Nimari Burnett scored during the period. Burnett hit a 26-foot 3-pointer, and Kawamura added a 24-foot 3-pointer, but Toronto scored 25 points and held on for the victory.

By the numbers

The Raptors finished with 114 points to the Clippers’ 106. Toronto’s quarter totals were 24, 33, 32 and 25. Los Angeles scored 18, 27, 27 and 34 across the four quarters.

The game was played before an attendance of 18,872. Toronto moved to 1-1 after the result, while LA Clippers also finished the game at 1-1.
