Urena leads the shutout
Walbert Urena worked six scoreless innings, allowed three hits and helped carry the Los Angeles Angels to a 3-0 win over the Milwaukee Brewers on Sunday, August 2, 2026, at Angel Stadium in Anaheim, California.
Urena struck out seven and walked three while earning the win to move to 7-7. The Angels held Milwaukee without a run in front of an announced attendance of 31,061.
Meckler provides the early offense
Los Angeles built its lead in the second inning. Meckler homered to right center, a 388-foot drive, and Grissom scored on the play to put the Angels ahead 2-0. It was the only home run of the game.
