Los Angeles Angels outfielders Mike Trout and Taylor Adell combined for four home runs to lead their team to a decisive 13-1 win against the Texas Rangers on Thursday night at Globe Life Field. The victory improved the Angels' record to 37-56, while the Rangers fell to 46-46.
Adell set the tone early with a two-run blast in the fourth inning and added a three-run homer in the fifth. Trout contributed a solo home run in the eighth inning. The Angels' offense overwhelmed Rangers starter MacKenzie Gore, who took the loss, falling to 5-8 on the season.

The Angels jumped out to an early lead in the first inning when Grissom singled to left field, driving in Neto for a 1-0 advantage. The gap widened significantly in the fourth inning when Adell homered 359 feet to right field, scoring Grissom and extending the lead to 3-0.
In the fifth inning, Grissom singled to left, scoring Neto to make it 4-0. Shortly after, Adell launched a 433-foot home run to center field, bringing home Trout and Grissom to push the score to 7-0. The Angels continued their offensive surge in the sixth inning when Grissom doubled to right, allowing Lowe and Neto to score, making it 9-0.
