Milwaukee Brewers right-hander Shane Drohan secured his sixth victory of the season, delivering a quality start that set the stage for an offensive explosion in Anaheim. Drohan pitched 6.0 innings, allowing four hits and two earned runs while striking out seven batters. His ability to limit damage through the first six frames kept Milwaukee ahead despite some early defensive lapses.

The Brewers took an early 1-0 lead in the second inning when a fielding error by Angels left fielder Siri allowed Mitchell to score from second base after Pratt singled to left. The run provided a slim advantage that held until the fifth inning.
That middle frame proved decisive for Milwaukee. Tyler Stephenson’s Turang launched a 398-foot home run to center field in the top of the fifth, driving in Pratt to make it 3-0. Shortly after, Austin Hedges’ Bauers followed with a 424-foot shot to right field, bringing in two more runs to push the lead to 6-0.
The Angels responded briefly in the bottom of the inning when Luis Rengifo’s Guzman hit a 385-foot home run to center, scoring Grissom to make it 6-2. However, Milwaukee’s bullpen shut down any further threats.
