The Rangers took an early 2-0 advantage in the first inning. Soler doubled to left field, allowing Schanuel to score. Lowe followed with a single to center field, bringing Soler home. The Angels responded in the second inning, tying the game at 2-2 when Lopez singled to left field, scoring Carter and Osuna while advancing to second base.
