Dodgers close out Atlanta
The Los Angeles Dodgers beat the Atlanta Braves 4-1 on Wednesday, Oct. 7, at Truist Park to win their National League Division Series three games to one.
Andy Pages broke a 1-1 tie in the seventh inning with a single to center that scored Tommy Edman and Teoscar Hernández. Max Muncy added a solo home run to right field in the ninth, a 389-foot drive off Raisel Iglesias.
How the runs scored
Atlanta struck first. Michael Harris II scored in the bottom of the first on a wild pitch by Dodgers starter Tyler Glasnow.
Los Angeles tied it in the top of the second when shortstop Mauricio Dubón made a fielding error on a ball hit by Muncy, allowing Shohei Ohtani to score.
The game stayed tied until the seventh, when Pages delivered the go-ahead hit. He finished 2-for-3 with two RBIs.
