Pleasanton voters will elect a mayor and representatives for City Council Districts 1 and 3 on November 3, according to the city’s official election information.

The qualified candidates are Jack Balch and Julie Testa for mayor; Vin Kruttiventi and Kathy Narum in District 1; and Reena Gupta and Jamie Yee in District 3. The mayor is elected citywide, while council representatives are chosen by voters in their districts.

The city has posted the candidates’ statements and an online district map. Those resources let residents check which council race appears on their ballot and read each candidate’s own description of their priorities.

Pleasanton’s 11-day vote center at the Pleasanton Unified School District office, 5794 West Las Positas Boulevard, is scheduled to open October 24. Four additional city vote centers open October 31. Election Day hours are 7 a.m.–8 p.m.

Check the city’s election page and Alameda County Registrar of Voters for the complete voting locations and current instructions.
