GraceWay Church is inviting the Pleasanton community to mark its 150th anniversary Sunday, Oct. 11, with an afternoon gathering at its Quarry Lane location.

The celebration runs from 2 to 3:30 p.m. Pacific Daylight Time at 1183-B Quarry Lane. The church’s invitation describes a program of music, shared memories and a message, followed by refreshments and conversation.

That afternoon start is separate from the regular Sunday worship gathering. The church calendar lists worship from 10 to 11:15 a.m., then the anniversary program at 2 p.m.

The milestone has also been recognized downtown. Museum on Main hosted a congregation-curated anniversary exhibit from Sept. 16 through Oct. 3, according to its exhibit listing. That display has ended; Sunday’s gathering is the upcoming opportunity to join the commemoration.

For event details or questions before attending, consult the church’s anniversary page or call 925-846-4436.
