Yelp recently published its ranking of the 50 most saved ice cream shops across the nation, placing a Pleasanton establishment at number five. Meadowlark Dairy is the sole Bay Area business to appear on the list, joining Mitchell’s Ice Cream in San Francisco, which holds the top spot.
The family-owned business has operated for over a century and currently maintains a 4.7-star rating based on more than 3,500 user reviews. The national top ten also includes Soft Swerve in New York, Mashti Malone’s in Los Angeles, and Bumsan Organic Milk Bar, also in Los Angeles.
Yelp stated that the selections reflect locations that users frequently plan visits around during the summer months. The complete list of 50 shops is available on the company's website.
