Pleasanton’s annual Pumpkins on Main scavenger hunt runs October 1–17, according to the Pleasanton Downtown Association.

Participants can pick up a map at Museum on Main or Towne Center Books, then visit participating downtown locations to find pumpkins. Each location can stamp or sign the map when its pumpkin is spotted.

The association also plans its first Boo Bash on Saturday, October 17, from 10 a.m. to 1 p.m. That separate event begins at Museum on Main, 603 Main Street, and includes trick-or-treating, a costume contest and children’s activities. Boo Bash is free; attendees should bring a treat bag or bucket.

The downtown hunt and Boo Bash are separate from Pumpkins After Dark at the Alameda County Fairgrounds.
