Pleasanton’s August community newsletter is now available, with this month’s edition highlighting ways residents can serve on a City commission or committee and several upcoming community updates.

The newsletter includes the new Fall & Winter Activities Guide and information about an upcoming sidewalk accessibility assessment that will use Daxbot technology. It also features details on a free residential solar panel recycling event.

Other items in the August update include back-to-school safety reminders, information about Gingerbread Preschool and after-school programs, and an upcoming Zippy and Hively community event.
