Downtown Pleasanton will host two public events Oct. 3–4, with a Main Street traffic closure beginning Friday afternoon.

Pleasanton Palooza is scheduled for Saturday, Oct. 3. The Pleasanton Downtown Association says the free event will include live music, a vendor street fair, family activities and a BMX bicycle show.

Porsches on Main follows on Sunday, Oct. 4, from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m. The Diablo Region of the Porsche Club of America says admission is free for spectators. The display will group vehicles by model and generation, and its Museum Row will feature a timeline of Porsche Turbo models.

The Downtown Association lists the Main Street vehicle closure as 4 p.m. Friday, Oct. 2, through 6 a.m. Monday, Oct. 5. Visitors can check the event organizers’ pages for participation details and any updates.
