Pleasanton Unified School District is encouraging families who meet household-size and income guidelines to complete a meal application by Oct. 31.

The reminder, posted Oct. 4 on Foothill High School’s website, says applications may help eligible families receive additional benefits, fee waivers and other savings while supporting funding and resources for schools.

All PUSD students receive one free breakfast and one free lunch each school day. The district’s Child Nutrition Services page says no application is required for those meals.

The reminder links to the 2026–27 income eligibility guidelines and the district’s online meal-application service. Families can find application information through Child Nutrition Services or call 925-426-4417 with questions.

Oct. 31 is the district’s requested submission date; the notice does not say free school meals will end for families who do not apply.
