George Kittle was limited during the San Francisco 49ers' practice Wednesday while continuing his return from a torn right Achilles. The practice designation was reported by cbssports.com.
Kittle had a cap on his practice repetitions the previous week before returning to game action about nine months after suffering the injury in a wild-card victory at Philadelphia.
He started San Francisco's Week 1 win over the Rams in Melbourne, Australia. Kittle participated in 30 of the team's 65 offensive plays and caught two of five passes thrown his way for 12 yards.
The 49ers could continue limiting Kittle's workload early in the season, according to the report. His availability for games was not described as being in question.
