Puka Nacua’s status for the Los Angeles Rams’ Week 3 matchup with the Denver Broncos remains undecided after a hip injury kept him out against the New York Giants.
Nacua missed the Rams’ Week 2 game after dealing with the injury during practice the previous week. Jordan Whittington also did not play, but Los Angeles won its home game against New York.
Rams coach Sean McVay addressed Nacua’s condition Tuesday morning. McVay said he is “not sure” whether the receiver will be available against Denver, while adding that he is “hopeful” Nacua can play.
The Rams are scheduled to travel to Mile High for an 8:20 p.m. ET game Sunday night. The team is seeking its second victory of the season. Rams Wire reported that Nacua’s availability has not yet been determined.
