The Los Angeles Chargers concluded their preseason with a game against the Rams on Thursday night. Following the match, head coach Jim Harbaugh addressed the status of kicker Cameron Dicker, who had to visit the medical tent during the game.

Harbaugh informed reporters that Dicker is currently "working through something" but did not specify the nature of the issue. He reassured that the team is not overly worried, describing the situation as "just something that came up tonight."

The minor nature of Dicker's ailment became apparent towards the end of the game. Harbaugh noted that if the Chargers had reached field-goal range for a potential game-winning kick, punter JK Scott was ready to take over the kicking responsibilities.

Before being held out as a precaution, Dicker had a mixed performance in the game. He missed a 49-yard field goal attempt as time expired in the second quarter but later successfully converted a 34-yard field goal in the third quarter and made his only extra-point attempt.

This injury issue adds to what has been a challenging preseason for Dicker, who is recognized as one of the most accurate kickers in NFL history. He has missed two extra-point attempts during the three exhibition games, which is uncharacteristic for him.

Further details regarding Dicker's condition were not provided.
