Dicker was seen visiting the medical tent during the game, which raised concerns among fans, especially after he missed a 49-yard field goal attempt near the end of the first half.
Despite the situation, Dicker reassured that he is fine, stating, "Nothing's wrong," in an interview with ESPN's Kris Rhim after the Chargers' 20-18 loss. However, head coach Jim Harbaugh's comments suggested some caution, as he noted that Dicker is "working through something."
The Chargers have already lost new center Tyler Biadasz for the entire 2026 season, adding to the team's injury woes from last year. With star quarterback Justin Herbert and promising running back Omarion Hampton, the Chargers will need Dicker's contributions to maintain their scoring potential, especially given the issues with the offensive line.
Dicker had a strong performance last season, converting 38 of 41 field goals and successfully making 34 of 35 extra-point attempts, including five field goals from over 50 yards. The Chargers have just over two weeks to ensure he is ready for their upcoming game against the Arizona Cardinals on September 13.
