The Miami Dolphins announced a trade agreement with the Los Angeles Rams to acquire running back Jarquez Hunter in exchange for wide receiver Tutu Atwell, pending physical examinations.
Jarquez Hunter, a fourth-round pick in the 2025 NFL Draft, has played five games in his rookie season with the Rams. During his college career at Auburn from 2021 to 2024, he participated in 49 games, starting 27, and accumulated 3,371 rushing yards on 539 attempts, scoring 25 touchdowns. He also recorded 68 receptions for 558 yards and four touchdowns.
Tutu Atwell, who joined the Dolphins on March 13, 2026, has played 64 games with 27 starts over five seasons with the Rams. He has made 105 receptions for 1,535 yards and five touchdowns, along with 16 carries for 72 yards and one touchdown.
Atwell was selected in the second round of the 2021 NFL Draft and had a notable college career at Louisville, where he recorded 139 receptions for 2,303 yards and 21 touchdowns across 34 games.
