The Los Angeles Chargers elevated cornerback Isas Waxter from their practice squad for Sunday’s game, the team announced Sept. 19, 2026.
Waxter joined Los Angeles’ practice squad in 2025 after entering the league as an undrafted free agent with Seattle. The source did not provide additional details about his expected role for the game.
During five seasons at Villanova from 2019 through 2024, Waxter played in 46 games. He recorded 108 tackles, including 75 solo stops, along with three interceptions and 19 passes defended.
His college totals also included one sack, two tackles for loss, three forced fumbles and one fumble recovery. Waxter received second-team All-Colonial Athletic Association recognition in 2023.
