Cal will play Miami on the road in 2027 as part of a nine-game Atlantic Coast Conference schedule that includes four home contests and five away games. The ACC announced the conference opponents for the 2024 through 2030 seasons in October 2023, and Miami’s addition is the only change to Cal’s 2027 slate since then.
The Bears will host Boston College, Florida State, Louisville and SMU at California Memorial Stadium. Their conference road games are scheduled against Georgia Tech, Miami, Pittsburgh, Stanford and Wake Forest.
Cal’s 2027 schedule will include matchups with Miami, Louisville and SMU, while Clemson is not on the schedule. Clemson is slated to play eight ACC games, and the conference’s other 16 teams are scheduled for nine.
Cal last played Miami in 2024, when the Bears held a 25-point advantage in the third quarter before losing 39-38 to the eighth-ranked Hurricanes at home. Miami quarterback Darian Mensah could enter the NFL after the current season, while wide receiver Malachi Toney will not be eligible for the NFL draft until after the 2027 college season.
Cal will continue to play Stanford and SMU every season, with its other ACC opponents determined through rotation. Game dates and kickoff times for the 2027 schedule have not been announced.
