The Los Angeles Rams have officially trimmed their roster to the 53-man limit as they prepare for the 2026 NFL season. This announcement was made on Sunday afternoon, detailing the players selected for each position.

At quarterback, the Rams will carry three players: Matthew Stafford, Stetson Bennett IV, and rookie Ty Simpson. Head coach Sean McVay confirmed on August 25 that the team planned to have three quarterbacks, although the backup to Stafford had not been determined as of August 27.

In the running back position, Kyren Williams, Blake Corum, and Ronnie Rivers have made the cut. Williams aims to achieve over 1,100 rushing yards and at least 10 rushing touchdowns for the fourth consecutive season, while Corum seeks to build on a successful 2025 season.

The wide receiver group consists of seven players: Puka Nacua, Davante Adams, Jordan Whittington, Konata Mumpfield, Tutu Atwell, Xavier Smith, and rookie CJ Daniels. The Rams have retained all receivers from their initial 2025 roster, with the addition of Daniels.

For tight ends, the Rams have five players: Tyler Higbee, Colby Parkinson, Davis Allen, Terrance Ferguson, and rookie Max Klare. This group returns four key players from last season, enhancing their depth with the addition of Klare.

The offensive line features nine players, including Alaric Jackson, Steve Avila, and Coleman Shelton. This unit played a crucial role in the Rams achieving the top spot in scoring and total offense last season. Notably, rookie Keagen Trost and veteran Justin Dedich were placed on Injured Reserve before the roster deadline.

On defense, the Rams have a solid lineup with six defensive linemen, including Aaron Donald and Poona Ford. The outside linebacker group includes five players, highlighted by the addition of Myles Garrett. The inside linebackers consist of Nate Landman, Omar Speights, Grant Stuard, and Shaun Dolac, with Landman returning as a team captain.

The cornerback position features four players, with a significant overhaul from last year's roster. The safety group remains stable with four players, while the specialists include punter Ethan Evans, long snapper Joe Cardona, and kicker Harrison Mevis.

Further details regarding the team's performance or strategies for the upcoming season were not provided.
