Washington has added San Jose State to its 2033 football schedule, with the Spartans set to visit the Huskies on Sept. 17, 2033, at Husky Stadium in Seattle. The game is expected to fall in the third week of the season.
The matchup will be the 11th between the programs and their first since 2006. Washington has won all 10 previous meetings. In the most recent game, the Huskies defeated San Jose State 35-29 after Isaiah Stanback passed for 168 yards and a touchdown and added 102 rushing yards and another score.
Washington is projected to have five home games and four road games in Big Ten play during the 2033 season, although the conference has not announced those opponents. The Huskies and Oregon are scheduled to begin receiving full shares of Big Ten media-rights revenue in the 2030-31 season.
Washington received $46.7 million from the conference in 2024-25, compared with an average of $79.9 million for schools receiving a full share.
San Jose State is the first team listed on a Washington schedule beyond 2030. Washington’s announced nonconference games include home dates with Fresno State and Portland State and a road Apple Cup game at Washington State in 2027. The 2028 schedule includes home games against Eastern Washington, UNLV and Washington State.
The Huskies are scheduled to play at Tennessee and host Boise State in 2029, followed by home games against Tennessee and Hawaii in 2030. The current Apple Cup continuation agreement ends after the 2028 season, although future continuation has not been announced.
