Pleasanton, California — Golden State announced July 9 that it has signed center Charles Bassey to a contract, keeping him with the Warriors after a brief stint late last season.
The club did not disclose terms. Warriors Wire, citing ESPN reporter Shams Charania, reported that the agreement is for one year.
Bassey appeared in five regular-season games for Golden State in 2025-26. The Warriors said he averaged 10.6 points, 7.2 rebounds, 1.0 assists and 1.4 blocks in 20.1 minutes across those appearances.
He also played 17 games for the Santa Cruz Warriors, Golden State’s G League affiliate, where the team listed averages of 20.4 points, 12.0 rebounds, 1.6 assists and 2.2 blocks.
