Henderson Leads the Way

Cedric Henderson was the driving force behind the Baltimore Orioles' 8-5 victory over the Sacramento Athletics on Sunday, August 30, at Sutter Health Park. Henderson hit his second home run of the game to right field, scoring Alexander and Alonso to give the Orioles a 7-5 lead. Henderson added a triple in the eighth inning, allowing Holliday to score and securing the final run for an 8-5 margin.

Pitching Performance

Chris Bassitt earned the win for Baltimore, pitching 5.2 innings while allowing eight hits and five earned runs. He issued three walks and struck out four batters. Anthony Nunez provided a scoreless 1.1 innings of relief, striking out two batters without allowing a hit or a walk.
