Scoring Sequence Unfolds
Milwaukee took an early 2-0 lead in the fourth inning through back-to-back walks that loaded the bases, allowing Jorge Sánchez and Jake Vaughn to score. The Dodgers responded in the fifth when Jackson Chourio’s single drove in Manuel Margot, making it 2-1.
Los Angeles seized control in the sixth inning. Max Muncy hit a 426-foot home run to right center, bringing in Mookie Betts and Freddie Freeman for a three-run advantage that made the score 4-2.
The Brewers tied the game in the ninth inning against Edwin Diaz. Christian Yelich’s single scored Adley Rutschman, followed by Jackson Merrill’s hit that brought in Yelich. Bauers then singled to right field to score Merrill, completing the comeback for a 5-4 lead.
