The holiday is part of a three-day weekend extending from July 3 to July 5, coinciding with the United States' 250th anniversary of the Declaration of Independence.
In Dublin, the Red, White & Blue Backyard Bash is scheduled for Saturday, July 4, starting at 10 a.m. at the Dublin Sports Grounds. The event features live entertainment, food, games, and vendor booths. Organizers suggest attendees bring lawn chairs or blankets.
Pleasanton hosts its 24th annual volunteer concert and picnic at Lions Wayside Park on Saturday at 12 p.m. The Pleasanton Community Concert Band will perform, and volunteers will prepare six hundred hot dog lunches for attendees.

Beer, wine, and food will be available for purchase.
Danville hosts its 51st annual Kiwanis-Danville 4th of July Parade on Saturday from 9 a.m. to noon. The procession travels from San Ramon Valley High School to Town and Country Drive. The San Ramon Valley Unified School District serves as the 2026 Parade Grand Marshal.
