Late Rally Secures Victory

The Houston Astros overcame a deadlock against the San Francisco Giants on Tuesday, August 11, securing a 6-3 victory at Oracle Park. The game remained tightly contested through nine innings before Houston’s offense erupted in the extra frames to break the tie and pull away.

Early Exchange and Tie Game

For San Francisco, Blade Tidwell pitched 5.2 innings, giving up one earned run on four hits with six strikeouts. JT Brubaker took the loss after allowing one earned run in 0.2 innings.
