Early Giants Lead
The Giants initially controlled the pace of the game. In the first inning, Jose Vientos hit a three-run home run to right field, scoring Brandon Lindor and Anthony Bichette. The away team extended their lead in the second inning. Alvarez homered to right center, and later, Bichette drove in a run with a two-run shot to left center. Mets Comeback
The Mets began their rally in the third inning when Rafael Devers doubled to center, scoring two runners. Nolan McLean earned the win, pitching six innings with two earned runs and seven strikeouts.
