49ers Sign Evan Anderson to One-Year Deal, Waive DL Titus Leo

The 49ers have signed defensive lineman Evan Anderson and waived Titus Leo.

The San Francisco 49ers announced the signing of defensive lineman Evan Anderson to a one-year contract. To accommodate this addition, the team waived/injured fellow defensive lineman Titus Leo.

Evan Anderson, who stands at 6 feet 3 inches and weighs 326 pounds, initially joined the NFL as an undrafted free agent with the 49ers on May 6, 2024. Over the course of his two-year career with the team from 2024 to 2025, he participated in 12 games, starting one, and recorded 24 tackles, one sack, one forced fumble, and one fumble recovery.

In 2025, he was on the practice squad before being waived on July 26, 2026.

Anderson, 24, hails from Orlando, Florida, and played college football at Florida Atlantic University from 2020 to 2023. During his college career, he appeared in 39 games, accumulating 145 tackles, 20 tackles for loss, seven sacks, three fumble recoveries, and two passes defended, earning Third-Team All-AAC honors in 2023.

Titus Leo, who is 6 feet 3 inches tall and weighs 245 pounds, was signed by the 49ers on August 2, 2026. Further details regarding his waiver status were not provided.
