Veeva Systems Inc. has announced a leadership transition in its commercial and service divisions. Dan Rizzo will assume the role of Executive Vice President for Sales, Consulting, and Services starting October 2, 2026.
Rizzo is succeeding Thomas D. Schwenger, who has been employed by the company since September 2019. Schwenger most recently held the position of President and Chief Customer Officer. He notified Veeva of his intent to resign on August 18, 2026, with his departure becoming effective on the same date as Rizzo’s appointment.
According to the announcement, Schwenger is leaving the company to take on a chief executive officer position at a long-standing partner of Veeva. No further details regarding the specific partner organization were provided in the release.
