Tri-Valley Veterans Day Parade set for Nov 8 in Pleasanton

The 29th Annual Tri-Valley Veterans Day Parade and concert is scheduled for Sunday, November 8, 2026, in Pleasanton. The event honors all veterans who have served or are currently serving in the nation's armed forces.

The parade begins at 1:00 p.m. in front of Veterans Memorial Hall, located at 301 Main Street. It will proceed four blocks north to St. Mary’s Street. Organizers expect more than 75 organizations to participate in this year's procession.

Leading the parade is a Color Guard composed of members from the Pleasanton Veterans of Foreign Wars Post 6298 and American Legion Post 237. This year, the event specifically honors student veterans. Trevor Penero and Anthony Sandoval, who represent student veterans at Las Positas College, have been named Grand Marshals.

Following the parade, the Pleasanton Community Concert Band will perform patriotic music at 2:00 p.m. in front of Veterans Memorial Hall. The band is under the direction of Josh Butterfield. Free ice cream will be available for attendees during the post-parade concert.

The Tri-Valley Veterans Day parade and subsequent event are organized and hosted by the Pleasanton’s Veterans of Foreign Wars Post, American Legion Post, and the City of Pleasanton. Additional information regarding the event is available at www.trivalleyvdp.com.
