The San Francisco Giants and Athletics will each send two players to the 2026 MLB All-Star Game at Citizens Bank Park in Philadelphia on July 14, with rosters revealed Saturday evening on FOX. The Giants' honorees are second baseman Luis Arraez and right-hander Logan Webb, while the Athletics' duo of first baseman Nick Kurtz and catcher Shea Langeliers earned starting nods for the American League.
Arraez earned his All-Star selection through the player vote, while Webb was chosen by Major League Baseball. For Webb, it marks his third consecutive All-Star appearance, a testament to his standing as one of the National League's most dependable starters. Arraez, the contact-hitting infielder, continues to rank among the league's top batters for average.
On the Athletics' side, both Kurtz and Langeliers will start for the AL squad. Langeliers won the fan vote at catcher, defeating Toronto's Alejandro Kirk in Phase 2 voting. Kurtz, the reigning AL Rookie of the Year, ascends to the starting role at first base after the fan vote winner, Vladimir Guerrero Jr., declined to participate.
Langeliers leads all American League catchers with 20 home runs and is batting .264 with an .822 OPS in his fifth major league season. He exited Friday's game against the Marlins with a left thumb contusion but is expected back well ahead of the Midsummer Classic.
Kurtz, building an early AL MVP case in his second season, entered Saturday leading the majors in RBIs with 66 and walks with 76. His .424 on-base percentage and .949 OPS both ranked second in the American League, behind only Houston's Yordan Alvarez. The 23-year-old debuted in May 2025 and was a unanimous choice for AL Rookie of the Year.
