During a recent training camp session, Los Angeles Chargers head coach Jim Harbaugh and offensive coordinator Mike McDaniel were spotted wearing shirts that read "EVERYONE WATCHES WOMEN'S SPORTS." This display was part of the Chargers' annual "Women in Sports Day: A Chargers Social Club Event," which celebrates women's contributions to sports.
The shirts are from Togethxr, which released the slogan in December 2023. The message has gained traction, with significant viewership data supporting the promotion of women's sports. According to Nielsen, 28.3 billion minutes of women's sports were watched in the first half of 2026, marking an 18% increase from the previous year.
Additionally, interest in women's sports among the U.S. population has risen, with 52% reporting interest and a notable decline in those expressing no interest.
The Chargers will kick off their 2026 NFL season against the Arizona Cardinals at SoFi Stadium on September 13. Harbaugh and McDaniel's actions at training camp have further solidified their reputation as a notable duo in the NFL, even without verbal commentary.
